My professional journey began at 16 when I entered the workforce, learning firsthand the importance of hard work, communication, and adaptability.

In 2015, I began my college career at Rutgers University–Camden, where I joined the executive board for the African Student Association as the Public Relations Officer.
At the time, the club was inactive and lacked a presence on campus. Alongside my incredible team, I worked tirelessly to rebuild it from the ground up, transforming it into one of the most vibrant and influential organizations on campus over the next four years. This experience solidified my love for leadership, creative strategy, and building a strong foundation for success.
In 2021, I graduated from Rutgers Camden with a degree in Health Science and a minor in Psychology
But my passion for storytelling and design was calling me in a different direction. Shortly after, I started my own business, CherelsDesign, where I combine my knowledge of psychology, branding, and storytelling to create solutions that truly resonate with audiences. I believe branding is more than just a logo or a color palette—it’s about telling a story, evoking emotion, and creating meaningful connections with your audience.

Outside of branding, I also enjoy content creation.
From voiceovers to video editing, I have a sharp eye for the small details that make a project truly stand out. My editing style is one-of-a-kind because I don’t just focus on visuals—I focus on the story behind them. Every cut, transition, and effect is intentional, designed to communicate a message and captivate viewers. ​
